I'm John worthington and i work from my home studio in Clyde in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand.

I have been making handmade knives for 28 years now.

I specialise in working knives from stainless steel by the stock removal method. I produce some knives by forging and some of my own Damascus.

I am a fan of sole authorship so everything including heat treatment is done in house.

While my major focus is on working knives, with kitchen and hunting knives at the top of the list, my work is not limited to this.

Clyde is a great outdoor recreational playground and place to live.
